You only specified keyboard input. It is a superflous setting and should be deprecated by Itch. I am assuming here, that your Unity game has all the normal input devices that all other pc games have. Which is mouse and keyboard.
You recreated in Unity what older rpg maker games have: no mouse support to move the character around, and only a crappy non changeable keyboard mapping. Which I would consider incredibly bad design. Even rpg maker games can nowadays be played with mouse, if you activate "touch support".
Yes I wanted to mention that the controls are all over the place too.
I would like to have one or two buttons to press the dialogue too, maybe button mapping or depending on the controls Y instead of Z as an option to do stuff.
To explain this better, I don't have a keyboard anymore that let's me change between english and german layout. so Z is always annoying.
I can also see being able to move while being in a menue causing some problems later.
Also almighty Cat magic might be trapping me in the starting area.

The keyboard mapping is unusable.

I mean it would be nice to be able to navigate your game by mouse. Nothing I clicked advanced/moved/selected anything.
I see. Touch support is on the game's futur implementations as it will be made available for Android/ios.
